Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, Kate has been a stage manager for musicals, plays, events, dance, and virtual projects for the last eight years. She has recently graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with minors in Arts Leadership and General Business.

While primarily focusing on Stage Management during her time at UMD, she has also ventured into theatrical design, acting, and theatre education through opportunities in and out of the university.

When Kate is not in the booth or backstage, she is probably exploring the Smithsonians in Washington D.C., listening to BTS, or trying her hand at baking.

Kate is currently the Stage Management Intern at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, as part of their Summer Professional Training Program. Following this program, she will continue to work in the theatre world in whatever way she can.
